Communication

There are many ways that you can communicate.  Some of the ways you can communicate are emails, texting, phone and face-to-face. Commuicating is happening everyday, there is no where in the world where there is not communication.

Communication can also go in the wrong way because if you dont do something right while you talk it can never be the same. So if you wanna talk you better get out what you are going to say right other wise everyone will think you dont know what you are talking about. In a good way that communication is good is the way you say something or how you do it.
Communication- is the activity of conveying information.

Perception/Context

You always need to understand what people are trying to say. Awarness you also need to know so you dont do something dumb while communicating.
Perception- its the awarness or understanding.

In communication you need alot of clues to know what people are doing. If you dont understadnw aht poeple are saying to you, you can use context clues to see what they are trying to say.
Context- is clues around what you say.

Feedback/Channel

Everyone loves feedback specially if its good. Not many people like hearing things about what thye did if its bad what they did, but then again some people do like that. I hate hearing bad things that I did in the past when people talk about it. It gives me bad memieres.
Feedback- what you you can tell someone something about what they did and how they did it.

Talking on the phone and face-to-face are all types of channel in the communication world. Face-to-face is the big one because ever day you talk face-to-face. Also the telelphone is also another big one. You probably talk on the phone more then face-to-face.
Channel- the method you are communicating at.

Sender/Reciever

When someone is waving there hands or giving someone a nod that is there way of saying hi or by.

Sending a message is a big deal because you have send to a message for someone to know what you are talking about or what you are doing. If we didnt send a message we would have no idea what poeple are doing.
Sender- Someone that sends a message to another peson.

Recieving a message is a whole lot different then sending one. One person could have a whole different idea what you are doing then what other poeple know what you are doing. You could also take something different then what the person in trying to say to you. You could take the compliment differently then what they meant it to be.
Reciever- Someone that gets something from another peson.

Encode/Decode

The time when you need to think before you talk is when you get arrested because everthing that you say to the cop is used agiasnt you in the court of law.

Before you talk you have to think about you are going to say and that is encode. You always have to think about what you say when you talk other wise you will never talk. It's wierd how you think before you talk which you would never know.
Encode- process by which information from a source is converted into symbols to be communicated.

For decoding you convert things into stuff then you say them so they dont come out wrong.
Decode- reverse process, converting these code symbols back into information understandable by a receiver.

External noise/ Internal noise

When my girlfriend would ask me if these cloths looked good on her? I really didnt respond to her because my favorite football game was one. This would be and expample of external noise.
External Noise-  physical noise, interfers with a persons ability to hear or listen.

And when she asks me to go anywhere like to the mall and I dont answer. And not responding to her what so ever. Its because I was tired. He got really mad at me for it. I said I'm sorry but I'm really tired.
Internal Noise-  where you only think of that one thing.

What went wrong in both of these situations is that I ignored her and it was all wrong of me. But, all these stuff is part of comminications. Nothing went right in these because the external noise and the internal noise was taking over my brain so i couldnt focus on the things she was asking me.

Non-verbal and Verbal

One time when some waved at me I thought they wanted to talk, but really they wanted nothing to do with me they just wanted to be nice and wave.

You could always wave, shake hands, and nod your head to say hi or goodbye. There are many things that can be non verbal in everyday communication. Also many things can go right and go wrong in non verbal communications because you could take something the wrong way then whats its supposed to mean.
Non-Verbal- sending and recieving wordless messages.

In verbal communication you talk to people other then use non-verbal and dont talk to them. Nothing can go wrong in this situation because what ever you say is what goes.
Verbal- its for people to communicate face-to-face.
